How to connect

Choose ONE method below to install and play:

   1. Manual Setup -> Recommended (faster downloads)

   2. Launcher Setup -> Easier, but currently slower

Manual Setup (Download & Patch Yourself)

Step 1 - Register an Account: here

Step 2 - Download Game Files: here

Download Options Explained

All-In-One Patches: Includes all required patches except Patch Z.

Mond-WoW Client: Includes the base game client, custom WoW.exe, Launcher, and all patches except Patch Z. Fastest and easiest option - only Patch Z is required separately.

Individual Files: Download patches (patch-4 to patch-Z), the Launcher, and WoW.exe separately for manual setup.

Step 3 - Install the Files

Move all patch files into your WoW/Data folder (Example: E:/wow/Data)

Extract the Mond-WoW Launcher into another folder than your main WoW folder (Example: E:/Launcher)

Step 4 - Run WoW.exe

Run the new WoW.exe once to allow it through Windows Defender

Once allowed, you are ready to play

Launcher Setup (Recommended / Auto-Update Method)

(Launcher is slow - Manual way to download is recommended for now)

Step 1 - Register an Account: here

Step 2 - Download Game Files: here

Step 3 - Install the Launcher

Extract the Mond-WoW Launcher into another folder than your main WoW folder (Example: E:/Launcher)

Step 4 - Update Using the Launcher

Open the Mond-WoW Launcher

Click Select Game Folder and choose your main WoW folder

Do NOT select the Data folder

Under Verify Version, select Only Updates

Click Check for Update

When ready, click Update

Step 5 - Start Playing

Click Play in the launcher. The game will launch and connect automatically.

Optional - Full Game Download via Launcher

Change Verify Version from Only Updates to Full Game

The launcher will automatically download the entire game client

If you have the base client keep it on Only Updates so it only downloads the custom files.
